  I decided to try this place because of all the great reviews. When I first came in, I was a little disappointed by the limited dessert selection, but I ordered the baklava and pistachio chai tea — and I have to admit, both were really good! I especially loved the chai. The main downside was the atmosphere. There didn’t seem to be any air conditioning, and it was extremely hot inside, to the point where it was difficult to stay and enjoy my drink. I also came during a busy time, and after customers left, quite a bit of dirty dishware was left visible for a while. Maybe they were simply understaffed that day. Overall, I really enjoyed what I ordered and would come back, but the comfort and cleanliness could definitely be improved.

  I was quite skeptical about this place based on recent “latte experiences” in the area, especially after seeing a perfect 5 star rating with more than 400 reviews, which is almost unheard of these days. But they definitely exceeded my expectations. Their latte is fantastic and they have a variety of syrups made in house. Their Menemen is delicious, exactly what you’d expect from a great Turkish restaurant. The portion is generous and is easily enough for two people if you’re not super hungry. Their baklava is excellent as well. It was a little overpriced in my opinion, but I guess that’s true of many places these days. Well done and keep up the excellent quality!

  A delightful recent addition to the Hillcrest dining options. A beautiful Middle Eastern coffee Café and lunch place. Staff are super friendly and very helpful in helping pick out the right snack or meal. Avocado toast include slices of beets and served with a fried egg on the side. If you want to try something truly authentic go for the Turkish breakfast options. The coffees are scrumptious. I particularly like the pistachio latte. Nice indoor and outdoor seating with a steady clientele the guys working here are also very attractive!!!

  It's crazy that one single place can do so many things PERFECTLY. Everything I've ever ordered from here (and I come here every week) has been so fresh and so full of quality. Not only are their Turkish breakfast options so amazing, but their chicken wrap is hot, fresh, delicious and packed with flavor, AND their desserts are so good -- on par with the best bakeries in San Diego and I've been to all of them. The menemen is literally sizzling when they bring it out. There is also incredible warm service and such great vibes whether you're eating with others, dining alone or just getting a cup of coffee and tea.
