We managed to ear here cheap. Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and got an extra bowl of white rice which was a $1.xx something I believe. It was plenty for me and my friend. The place looks a little dated but I was impresed with the food display images. I'm just used to them being faded, haha. Our server was nice, and we didn't have to wait long at all to get our food.

If I could, I would give zero stars. We waited 55 minutes for our food. There was food sitting out on the counter for 40+ minutes. The chicken had a cartilage, clumps of fat, and the skin still on for my cashew chicken. The disgusting atmosphere inside makes you want to wipe your feet on the way out. We had to remind her of our order several times. We got our rice when our meal was over. We asked for water and she said they didn’t have water. They didn’t have WATER!!! Are you kidding me? Terrible. The broken front door should have been our first sign to stay away. Avoid it even if it’s the last place on earth to eat!!

We’ve been coming here for nearly 20 years, so this review is disappointing to write. Our experience this time was completely different from what we remembered. It took almost an hour for our food to arrive, and the restaurant appeared to be understaffed. To make matters worse, it seemed like Uber Eats orders were being prioritized over customers dining in. We noticed several delivery drivers becoming frustrated with the long wait as well. The food was also very disappointing. The chicken wings were overly salty, the orange chicken was inedible, and the chow mein had almost no flavor. We were a group of six, and everyone agreed the food was far below expectations. Two of the dishes were left almost completely untouched. Whether there are new owners or the restaurant has simply changed, the quality and service are no longer what they used to be. Sadly, after 20 years of coming here, we won’t be returning.

My favorite Chinese food in San Diego. They are open late and I get the Fried Garlic Green Bean Tofu dish or the Lo Mein Noodles. I miss the Bok Choy Mushroom dish, wish they would consider putting it on the menu again. They have some good vegetarian options. Pricing is reasonable and generous portions. Very rare these days.
